Breann and Charles planned their wedding in a record 104 days. From start to finish their Highland Manor wedding was filled with beautiful personal details that made one thing very clear; their love for each other and for their families is unwavering. They fast-tracked their wedding planning after finding out about a family member’s unexpected illness because the most important thing to them was having everyone there for their special day. And a special day it was!!! They picked Highland Manor for its unique, historic style and it fit them perfectly. Just about everything about their wedding was DIY and family members used skills they had to help out. From the bouquets to the centerpieces, every little detail was a testament to the love and support from their families.
Charles’ favorite memories from the day:
Watching the groomsmen open their gifts. Dancing with my mom.
These super cute beer steins were the groomsmen gifts. Charles hired an Etsy artist who paints caricatures onto the mugs. We promise, the likeness is uncanny!
Breann’s favorite memories from the day:
Joking with my dad about not falling in the hole as we walked down the aisle. It put a lot of ease on walking. Also watching my dad dab off Charles’ sweat.
Breann and Charles have known each other for nine years. They have photos together from when they were just friends! Their Highland Manor wedding was covered in photos of the two of them. It was so amazing to be able to see their love story in photo form throughout the day.
Florida brought the heat but Breann’s dad was the best wingman! ;)
Their centerpieces were all made by Breann’s parents, Peter and Toni. Each one was different and represented all the things that Breann and Charles love. Their Busch Gardens centerpiece featured beautiful stained glass animals made by Breann’s cousin, Bill Hettmann. They also had a Biscuit Bar so their guests could take goodie bags home to their furry friends! How cute is that?!
When we asked Breann and Charles about their music choices, they said they just wanted music that they could have a “giant karaoke party to.” DJ Eric Harding did an incredible job providing the perfect playlist for their guests to jam out to!
Breann’s advice for brides planning their wedding now is,
Don’t overthink it. Don’t freak out. Don’t sweat the small stuff. DIY if you can.
Incredible advice from a truly incredible couple! We couldn’t agree more. Breann and Charles put their love for each other and for their families first, and the result was a truly magical Highland Manor wedding. Even the storm that was supposed to hit exactly at their ceremony time held off! Love can perform incredible miracles. Congratulations to you, Breann and Charles! We can’t wait to see where life leads you!
