Mary & Paul | Orlando Museum of Art Wedding

bride & groom giggle between two large works of art before Orlando museum weddingMary and Paul’s Orlando museum wedding was filled with love, family, and no shortage of happy tears! Their inspiration for their wedding day was “Beauty. Friends. Family. Love.” and we promise, all of those things were in abundance on this stormy Saturday. The Orlando Museum of Art provided a unique backdrop for their day that allowed their guests to take in some art in between dances.

The first look, seeing her smile, seeing her dress.

Mary’s favorite memory of the day:

The first look, the anticipation of it. It was so special.

This emotional first look was a highlight of our day too! Mary and Paul both became instantly at ease when they saw each other for the first time before their Orlando museum wedding.

SF4_9906.jpgOne of the most emotional parts of Mary and Joe’s wedding day was during the ceremony. Paul had legally adopted Mary’s daughter, Grace, the day before their wedding, but hadn’t told anyone yet. Near the end of their ceremony, their longtime friend and pastor came up to pray over them and announce the big news. It’s safe to say, there was not a dry eye in the house! Mary had clued us in about this special part of the ceremony beforehand and we got crazy goosebumps instantly! Have we mentioned we love love?!

SFP29585.jpgMusic played a big role in their Orlando museum wedding and also part of what made their big day unique. Bay Kings Band is filled with killer musicians who set the perfect mood for every part of the evening. Mary and Paul said, “The Bay Kings Band were amazing. Everyone from age 5 to age 65 enjoyed what they played.” The dance floor was indeed packed all night! One song in particular held special meaning. They picked “Stand by Me” for the father/daughter dance. After Mary had danced with her father for a while, Paul led Grace, Mary’s daughter, to the dance floor to join them.

Mary and Paul’s advice for brides planning their own weddings is…

Enjoy planning your wedding. Do it together- both Bride and Groom. It’s good to learn early on to work as a team. Expect the unexpected. It’s okay if everything isn’t perfect. Just try to enjoy the day and the moment. Do a first look!

We dig that! Teamwork is key in any marriage, and Mary and Paul did a fantastic job all day working together. Their Orlando museum wedding was so elegant and so filled with love. We were honored to play a small part in your big day, Mary and Paul! Cheers to you and your beautiful family!
