Kelsey & Jason | Isola Farms Wedding

We always ask our brides what made their wedding stand out from the crowd and Kelsey had our best answer yet. Kelsey said,

I don’t think our wedding stands out from a crowd but I will say our wedding (setting, food, drinks, music) was exactly perfect for us! I felt right at home like a back yard party and that’s exactly what we wanted!

THIS is what we want everyone to feel like after they get married! Kelsey and Jason’s Isola Farms wedding had so many personal touches and everyone was involved. Their friends and family catered the delicious dinner, Kelsey’s father built their ceremony altar…the list goes on and on!

Kelsey’s favorite moment of the day:

When Jaxen saw me it was so sweet how he was. Looking at my dress and rubbing my arm. Almost star struck . He was just being the sweetest!

Sooooo, funny story. Several of Kelsey’s bridesmaids and friends traveled from Tennessee to celebrate Kelsey and Jason. Peggy (a bridesmaid) made it all the way to Florida the night before the wedding and as she was unpacking she realized she had left her bridesmaid dress hanging up at home. IN TENNESSEE. So at 9:00pm on Friday night, Peggy made an emergency trip to David’s Bridal and miraculously found a dress in the right size and the perfect color! She didn’t tell Kelsey because she didn’t want to stress her our and only when Peggy got dressed did Kelsey notice the switch! That is some wedding magic right there!!!

The moment that held the most meaning at Kelsey and Jason’s Isola Farms wedding was the planting of their Unity Tree during their ceremony.

We have a blended family and we really wanted something that made sense for all 5 of us to be a part of. What better way than a tree since one of our companies is landscaping, right? What the tree unity stands for is really stood out to us and our blended family. Establishing fresh roots (our new tree) and all of us continuing to care for our family and keep giving to it means a lot.

Is that not the sweetest wedding tradition?

(Insider info…Sierra and her husband planted a tree during their ceremony and it’s now almost 6 feet tall and sprouting beautiful yellow flowers! Kelsey’s advice for bride’s planning now:

Let people help you: Delegate jobs to your closest people. Be very thorough and write instructions down for them but don’t try to do it all yourself.

Don’t get too busy talking with everyone at your reception and you forget to dance with your new husband. Say hi and thank you to people but keep it short and sweet or your night will get away from you and then it’s over. So make it about you and do what you want.

Don’t stress about it! Your people will make sure you have what you want!

Soak the day up because it GOES BY TOO FAST!

We had such a blast at Kelsey and Jason’s Isola Farms wedding and can’t wait to see where this next part of your journey takes you! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. West! We ♥ you both and your beautiful family!
