Cecelia & Brandon | Horsepower Ranch Wedding

Cecelia and Brandon’s citrus themed Horsepower Ranch wedding was equal parts love, joy, and plain old fun! These two come from agricultural backgrounds and did an incredible job incorporating citrus throughout the whole day, from the invitations to the centerpieces to their wedding cake. A live band and a mechanical bull made for an entertaining reception that all their guests loved!

Brandon’s 1978 F-250 was their getaway vehicle to their Horsepower Ranch wedding reception. We adore when the bride and groom get to have some alone time. Brandon and Cecelia found the perfect chance! On their ride from the ceremony to the reception, they even stopped at the gas station to pick up some drinks!

With Cecelia’s family owning a nursery for generations and the Brandon working in the citrus industry, their decor was oh-so-fitting.

The bride had a veryyyy special surprise for her new husband! Cecelia surprised Brandon by singing “From This Moment” by Shania Twain with the live band. It was an emotional moment and that girl can SANG! It turned out to be Brandon’s favorite moment of the whole day!

Cecelia’s favorite part of the day was how Brandon chose to remove the garter. It’s right on brand for Brandon, who spends a lot of time fixing up trucks!

Did we mention they had a mechanical bull?! If you’re looking for a way to keep your guests entertained for hours, we definitely suggest renting one!

Cecelia’s advice for brides planning their weddings now is…

Make sure you take lots of deep breaths. Guests will constantly be coming up to you throughout the day. Create a timeline/schedule of order of events to provide to your vendors. Drink plenty of water and make sure you take a few moments for you both to have alone time.

As any of our former SFP couples know that we are always asking if you’ve eaten and drank water throughout your wedding day! It’s so easy to forget with so much going on but obviosuly, important!

Congratulations to you, Mr. & Mrs. Waldrop! Your Horsepower Ranch wedding was such a fun celebration of your love.
