Back when Tori and James first reached out to me they knew they wanted an intimate Savannah elopement. I was ALL IN on that! Elopements are amazing because they’re laid back and really focus on the couple, our fav. And then of course, Savannah, Georgia is a photographer’s paradise. They invited only a few family members to the destination ceremony and then had an awesome reception locally the following weekend. It was the perfect setup for them and their chill style and this day was SO FULL OF LOVE and meaning.
Grandma’s earrings.
Tori and James’ Savannah elopement happened to fall on Mother’s Day weekend. Tori had the most thoughtful gift made for her Mom who recently lost her own mother. A cutting board engraved with her Mom’s (Tori’s grandma’s) hand-written recipe. Yea, we were all crying at that point.
So much love between these two. I love the way James looks at Tori.
They had a short and sweet ceremony in the park with a few close family and friends. The comfy lawn chairs were a personal favorite. :)
One of the best parts about an elopement is the laid back timeline. After the cermeony, we headed over to Wormsloe Plantation for some portraits with the classic Savannah Oaks!
Thank you for bringing me along for your sweet celebration. Words can’t express how happy I am for you two! You deserve all the happiness in the world!
