Cory and Jacque’s vintage Bakers Ranch wedding was a rustic fairytale come to life. Giant oak trees adorned with twinkle lights set the stage for their ceremony where the rain held off just long enough to make it through their tear-filled vows. These two make such a solid pair. Their love for one-another is unmistakable strong and we felt honored to spend the weekend in South Florida capturing it!
Crazy behind the scenes story…Jacque actually broke her left ring finger a week before their wedding when her dog’s leash got wrapped around it. They had to rush to get the ring resized to fit her right ring finger. When she went to pick up the ring the day before the wedding it wasn’t ready! Cory had to pick it up Saturday morning before their wedding only to find out it still didn’t fit her right finger. Luckily some wedding magic happened and the swelling had gone down enough to slide the ring onto her left ring finger!
When Cat was bringing Cory to his spot for their first look, she told him how amazing Jacque looked. His response? “Am I supposed to act surprised? She always looks incredible.” We love us a proud groom! ;)
The first look was one of Cory’s many favorite parts of the day.
Jacque’s favorite memory from the day happened right before walking down the aisle to her groom. She said,
“As everyone is lined up waiting to walk down the isle, Denyse (my little sister who is Autistic) shouts out as loud as she can ‘JACQUE! YOU’RE A HOT MOMMA!'”
Cory’s favorite memories were,
“Getting through vows without breaking down, getting to eat alone with his new wife and being able to take it all in just the two of them, getting to catch up with friends he hasn’t seen in awhile. Also, the first look!”
Cory and Jacque did an incredible choreographed first dance to “Bonfire Heart” by James Blunt complete with lifts, dips, and twirls. All of their guests were so impressed! Their Bakers Ranch wedding reception was filled with lots of DIY touches. They made the signs throughout, table numbers, place settings, favors, and a beautiful display table filled with photos of their love story. Cory and Jacque paid attention to every detail!
Their advice for brides in the planning process is to “hire a wedding planner! :)” It is always so nice to have someone there that you trust to make sure everything goes smoothly on your big day so that you and your loved ones can all relax and enjoy the day. We were so honored to be a part of Cory and Jacque’s wedding day and can’t wait to see where life takes them!
