Delana and Mason’s Hidden Barn Venue wedding was the perfect combination of country-chic. Delana said:
I know it sounds crazy but I wanted to wear a dress that made me feel like a Princess. This is the day of all days to feel like a Princess. I wanted the bridal party and family to dress for the occasion but allow our guest to dress more casual. We tied it all in with the perfect amount of rustic with a touch of elegance.
We think they absolutely succeeded! Tucked away in the backroads of Sorrento, the new Hidden Barn Venue made the perfect backdrop for their big day.
Delana is a crafting queen and she killed the wedding detail game. She made everything from the signs to the custom cups for the bridesmaids and groomsmen. She even made 300 koozies as favors for their guests. Now every time they crack open a Silver Bullet, they’ll remember the “Best Day Ever” that they shared with Mason and Delana.
Delana and Mason actually had the same favorite moment of the day and it had everything to do with Delana’s daughter, Kylie. Mason had vows for Delana which were beautiful, but he also wrote separate vows for Kylie and, let me tell you, there wasn’t a dry eye in the chapel!
Delana said,
Mason’s vows to Kylie were some of the sweetest words I’ve ever heard. Mason and Kylie both cried while he read them to her. My heart could hardly handle it.
Mason said,
My favorite part of the day was seeing Kylie get so emotional about me reading her vows. It made everything worth it for me. And my wife was pretty smoking hot.
Princesses can be smokin’ hot too ;)
There were two father/daughter dances at their wedding. One for Delana and her father which was a hilarious surprise and one for Mason and Kylie which left the whole group in a puddle once again. They danced to “He Didn’t Have To Be” by Brad Paisley which has so much meaning to their little family. Kylie had been nervous about dancing in front of everyone, but the second Mason picked her up and wrapped her up in his arms, you could see all the nerves just melt away.
For a little comic releif, they played the always hilarious shoe game – notice Mason’s badge? It’s a running joke that when they went to get their marriage license, Mason wanted to change his name to Sherrif. To ruffle Delana’a feathers Mason changed his name to Sherrif Mahair on Facebook, not knowing it couldn’t be changed back to normal for 60 days! Well, the nickname stuck with everyone from the DJ to the best man including the nickname in their speeches. :P
Cheers to the beautiful new Mr. & Mrs. Mahair! THANK YOU for giving us the honor of documenting this day.
