Ceviche Wedding | Orlando Wedding Photographer

Kaleigh & Dan had an intimate Ceviche Wedding in downtown Orlando! The historic building made the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and reception. Ceviche also happens to be a DELICIOUS restaurant downstairs so the food was on point! These two are the perfect laid back pair and their day was a true reflection of that.

What made your wedding stand out from the crowd?

Personally, I think that our venue set the mood and made my wedding a little different from the standard wedding. The vintage Spanish style made everything intimate! Not only that but with everything taking place downtown for the NCAA and St. Patty’s Day, it made the day unforgettable and more fun!

DIY projects for the day:

A lot of the items in the wedding were made by myself and my sister-in-law! Everything from the centerpieces to the bridesmaid’s bouquets were made by us the month beforehand!

Inspiration for the day:

My inspiration for the day was mostly the color pallet of plum and turquoise with gold accents! I also was inspired by the appeal of the candlelight in the fireplace room where the ceremony took place.

Inside stories relevant to planning your Ceviche wedding:

I got some beautiful purple and blue orchids and hydrangeas so that my sister-in-law could make a fresh bouquet for me. Apparently on Thursday when she opened the fridge, the flowers were brown and gross looking (most likely due to my power being out when I got home) and my sister-in-law panicked. Somehow she managed to get me a whole new bouquet in the same style by the day of the wedding without me even finding out!

Favorite memories of the day, his/hers:

The whole day was perfect, but my favorite memory of the day was when Dan read his vows. They were so sweet and definitely made me realize I made the right choice in marrying him.

Music choices (anything special, meaning to a song, live music, pianist etc.):

My favorite choice for music was our bridal party exit from the ceremony which was the Jurassic Park theme song. I did know if Mr. Jeff Scott would be able to learn it on the guitar or not, but he definitely made it happen. It was beautiful and perfect for what Dan and I wanted!

Advice for brides planning now:

Even though you might feel like you have everything together, those last few days before the wedding will seem hectic! Just remember to use your family and friends for any help that you might need, and everything will fall into place.
