“I’ve been waiting 11 YEARS FOR THIS!” was the exclamation we heard throughout Melissa and Jon’s Orchid Garden Orlando wedding.This has to be one of the most anticipated weddings we have ever photographed! These two are high school sweethearts who met in science class and have been busy taking on the world together ever since. On January 26th, they finally became husband and wife but if you would have seen the way they interacted, you’d have sworn they just laid eyes one another yesterday.

Melissa officially takes the cake for most sparkle and glam put into one day. From her bedazzled “Mrs. Esparza” getting ready robe to her elegant Allure Bridal wedding gown, Swarovski is officially OUT of crystals.

Jon’s favorite moment from their big day was seeing Melissa walk down the aisle towards him. He said,

“I had heard so much about how beautiful she looked in her dress but it was in that moment that I realized just how lucky I truly am. All I could think about was ‘wow, that girl is going to be my wife.’ I really had to fight back the tears.”

Melissa certainly took note of Jon’s tears during their Orchid Garden Orlando wedding ceremony. She said,

“During our vows, I could see tears filling Jon’s eyes! It was the sweetest moment of our entire wedding because although no one else could see those tears, I could.. and Next thing I know.. I’m crying, trying to hold back from ugly crying! Haha!”

Melissa and Jon did a fabulous job capturing the historic, antique feel of Orchid Garden that they fell in love with on that first tour of the venue. The ornate white banisters and antique industrial vaulted ceilings were perfectly complimented by Melissa and Jon’s burgundy, blush, and gold color palette.

Melissa’s favorite moment of the day was the ultimate representation of the last 11 years…

…being introduced as the new Mr. & Mrs. Esparza! I’ve waited so long to hear that! It was amazing to see all of our friends and family around us in that moment! Truly felt on top of the world to have such an amazing man next to me as my new husband and all of our friends and family together!
