Heather & Austin | Garden Club Wedding – Tampa

Bride & Groom frozen as the hustle and bustle of Oxford Exchange in Tampa swirls around themAt the south end of the Davis Islands in Tampa, FL, Heather & Austin said “I do” during their Florida garden wedding. It was a gorgeous day at the Davis Islands Garden Club filled with love, laughter, and stories shared about a couple who have been together for ten years. The only guests missing were Heather & Austin’s adorable cats (who were the stars of their engagement photos)!

We started the day at Oxford Exchange which made for an epic getting ready area, first look and key caffeine boost for us and for the bridesmaids. Surrounded by fashionable finishes and portraits of historical figures, Austin saw his bride for the first time.

Something we always tell our brides and grooms is to remember to stop, breathe, look around and just take it all in. Your wedding day goes by so quickly and it’s so important to take little moments to yourselves. Heather says some of her favorite moments from their wedding was when it was just her and Austin together (for picture time) because they got to relax and just enjoy it.

“Austin had specific voicemail recordings for everyone in his phone. He played piano and sang a portion of that song as my voicemail recording.”

Heather’s advice for brides planning now:

Delegate. I did a great job delegating. :) I was not into planning a wedding like most girls, I just wanted to show up to a beautiful night. Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way and I did end up having to plan a lot — but I delegated to the moms where possible.

It takes a village to plan a wedding and Heather & Austin have a pretty spectacular village supporting them! We are so happy for you guys and we can’t wait to see where life takes you! Thank you for letting us be a small part of your incredible day!
